gary_berg
Typically Norton Utilities or System Works has an unerase program. Unfortunately, unless the HD was reasonably well defragged before the delete the chance of recovery is not all that good - the file will be spread all over the place. BTW, FAT32 or NTFS or what? cgo
If anything has been saved to the HD since the deletion of the files you want, the odds are the new stuff overwrote those files ...

ed_tobin
Mike, I had a problem with a compactflash card a month ago and found Photo recovery from LC Technology International in Florida to work. I tried several others including a higher end product from LC but they did not work. I am using in on a Mac OSX but they also have windows versions. daniel_moore
I've only needed it once, but was successful with PhotoRescue by DataRescue. A free trial is available as well. http://www.datarescue.com/photorescue/
