pavolk
I recently rediscovered an old Pentax ME-Super loaded with an Ilford XP2 400Asa B&W film. Half the roll was exposed at least five and maybe up to six years ago. The rest I've just exposed now. Can anyone offer me advice on developing this - or rather, on how I should instruct my lab to develop it, since I don't have my own darkroom? I don't know the original expiry date of the film. Will normal developing still produce an acceptable result after all this time? And will there be a difference between the old and new exposures? Many thanks in advance. ann_clancy3
This is a C41 film and needs to be processed in color chemistry. We did have some one develop a roll (by mistake) in HC110 Solution B a few years ago. Very strange stain but they could be printed.
gareth_harper
Unless it's been stored in an oven I don't see there being any problem. Just make sure you put it in for a C41 process.
