  1. I guess I don’t get how the camera knows when you change the asa. In my head I am thinking it would adjust the winder resistance plate the same way as changing the speed does. I hope I am making some sense.
  2. hi! My AE-1 has an issue. Changing the asa dial has no effect on the light meter suggested aperture. So it’s recommending f8 at 25 asa at 1/1000, and recommending f8 at 3200 asa at 1/1000 when looking at the same light source. Should there be a mechanical action inside that happens when you change the asa? When I change the speed the plate under the winder moves and the tungsten wire looks good. The speed has an effect on the suggest aperture so that’s working. Thank you!
  3. Hi! Excited to be here :) Having some Nikon issues and wondered if you could please help me. "Shutter button works every 30 or so winds. I move that single frame locking lever so I can keep winding it. The mirror is not stuck. I am using the mechanical B and M250 speed and have new batteries. I’m guessing something is gooped up or worn. Strangely I’m having the same problem on both cameras. Any suggestions would be great!" Here is a short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxT30ukMGxE Thank you so much!
