    Pierre is right about the exposure. You can see the difference when I adjusted the brightness and shadows in photo shop. But I like the perspective that the statue on the left gives to the overall shot. .

    Nice to hear from you both.  Due to a PC malfunction, I have recently moved from a desktop to a laptop and from PS CS4 to PS/LR CC.  So I am on a learning curve with the new software.  Hopefully I will get some new photos going soon.
