1. Thanks for the heads up, will look in to your suggestions
 2. Thanks for making it clear, I was searching and never saw result with glass graduated filter, was wondering if I am doing a wrong search
 3. Thanks for your input, I am referring to something similar to LEE Filters 100 x 150mm 0.6 Hard-Edge Graduated Neutral 6NDG-H
 4. Hi All, I am planning to buy hard edge Graduated Neutral Density (0.9 and 0.9), but while going through the online resources it seems everyone is suggesting to go for glass rather than Resin Filter. I was planning to go with Lee GND filters but it seems they only have Resin Filter options, can any one help me to understand if glass filter really gonna make such a difference and any suggestion for good GND (hard and Soft) is highly appreciated. Thanks Umesh
 5.
Thanks everyone for providing input, Recently I lost my kit lens and that was one of the reason for me to start looking for the replacement.
It seems that I should focus on mid range rather than going for super zoom option, additionally I am not planning to upgrade my D90 for next 1-2 years.

Thanks
Umesh

 6.
Hi All,

I have Nikon D90 and Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, I am mainly in to Landscape, Currently Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 is the only lens in my kit and I was planning to replace it with Tokina AT-X 11-20mm f/2.8 due to limited zoom. I have done some R&D and settling down to following options

Will not sell Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8.

Will be looking for additional lens which can give me more flexibility to cover other range.

I have gone through different options and sorted out following 2 lens

 Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G

 Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G

Both lens have got a good reviews and feedback but only issue which I have came to know about 18-300 is wight. Can some one help me to understand how practical it is for me to go for 18-300 provided I mainly shoot for landscape. I am also open to any other suggestion.

Thanks
Umesh

 7.
As of now I don't have any other lens ( I lost my kit lens in recent trip :( ), I have plan to get one telephoto lens but that is still not finalized yet

I am OK to have another lens but as I said, I have hardly used it at 11mm. I will look in to 17-50mm as that seems good option to me.

Thanks
Umesh

 8. Thanks for your response, I am not sure what will be downside of having 12-28 as compare to 11-20 other than f/2.8, this is something which is holding me a lot :(
 9.
Hi All,
I am not much in to low light photography and mostly in to Landscape and Travel Photography. I had Tokina 11-16mm which was really good for my D90 but have a limited focal length and sometime I felt to restricted with 16mm and I have hardly used 11mm.
After doing some research, I shortlisted these 2 for my D90

Tokina AT-X 12-28 F4 PRO Dx for Nikon

Tokina AT-X 11-20mm f/2.8

I even looked at Nikon one but they are too costly and I do not want to invest that much amount ( might upgrade my Camera )
Can anyone provide their insight on the above selection or I am also open for another suggestion.
Thanks
Umesh
