1. I use distilled water with no photo flo. Film dries clear of spots.
 2. I use my ETRSi quite frequently. It sounds like they function like the SQ-A as far the shutter release. I use a shutter release probably 50% (with mlu 25% of the time) and the ETRSi fires at the speed set on the camera. As Ben says" It would fire at the speed set on on the camera body as long as the T switch on the lens was not in the T position. It sounds like this is what you're trying to do. " Leave the T switch alone unless shooting a time exposure. The T switch is very handy when shooting long exposures. I use a standard screw in cable release.
 3. I finally found a website with quite a few Minolta manuals and got my manual there. If anyone is looking for other manuals it wouldn't hurt to check out DerryBryson.com .
 4. Hello, I'm having a difficult time locating a manual for a Minolta 5400 HS flash. I've searched on the web and different sites but to no avail. I'd rather not have to pay for one , but if I have to I will-. Does anyone know where I can download a manual ? I have also searched Butkus manuals, no luck---when I have got manuals from Butkus I do donate. thanks--tom
 5. My SRT 202 is used constantly , with Rokkor lenses. I process and print all my film in my darkroom.
 6.
A PDF would be great John, thank you.

I went to flickr, but the owner has disabled downloads. I read the instructions though..thanks Fred

I checked out the Greg Weber site , might have a lens to send him. The glass is pristine but I think the shutter speeds are a wee bit sluggish. thanks--Jeff

 7.
Thanks for the replies. I'm anxious to try it out . This long weekend will give me some time. I have a printed manual for the Rapid, but it says nothing of how to use the Auto up. Thanks --tom

 8.
I purchased a Koni Omega Rapid Auto-Up II and it arrived today. I believe I have it figured out. But would anyone have the instruction sheet for it ? It seems pretty straight forward , but I'd like to make sure. Thanks- tom

 9.
Thanks for the responses . I hope this thank you response goes through . For some reason , my first "thanks" did not - probably operator error . Yes , MLU is usually not needed but once in awhile I feel more at ease using it . That might be something I should test - take a shot without MLU and then take the same shot with MLU . Has anyone done this ? thanks again - tom

 10.
Not all srt 102's have mlu , at least that's what I have figure. But, are all mlu controlled from the left side of the camera ( as you face the camera ) ? Or , are some mlu on the right side of the camera, as you face the camera ? I found a picture of a 102 that has no mlu on the left side , but has what looks like a mlu on the right side. thanks - tom

 11.
I apologize if this question has been asked, but I think I've read every question regarding the Rapid Omega on the site. But, I know I've missed some, probably the one question I need.
I have been trying to remove the Series VI filter ring from my 90mm lens , to let me use 49mm filters. I have tried every trick I can think of plus all the tips I can find here. But then, I read one post here which stated that the DOF ring and lens shade must be removed by loosening up 3 tiny set screws. I found the 3 tiny set screws, they are so small I couldn't tell if they are screws or what. Do I need to remove the lens shade and DOF ring ? My last attempt consisted of making a 1 7/8 wooden circle and using a rubber jar opener beneath it-- no work . Its either stuck very well, or ?
thanks--tom

 12.
Hello Martin, Thanks for your reply. I looked at the one on ebay and think I'll give it a try. I've been going around in circles and hopefully this gets me straighten out . thanks again !!

 13.
I have the 58mm lens and am trying to locate a series VII step up to 55mm adapter . I got one off of the auction site, but for some reason a 55mm filter screws in just a tad and then stops. I searched for a adapter and all that shows are 55mm to series VII adapters - opposite of what I need. I've had my rapid Omega 2 weeks and so far am enjoying it ! Thanks for any response- I know this is an old thread -- tom

 14.
Wes, I still have the lens. Drop me an email with your address. I'm glad you can use it. thanks--tom
