1.
thank you ian for the photoes. they are all good proof fot the lense ,s quite satisfiying quality. talk about the bokeh.it seems alawys us ,photografyers take much care ,not the ordinary people who look at the photoes. i also shot many pics comparising with my af 352 d and ais50 1.2. this zoom dont have backwards unless in it s corners at its 3.5APERTURE. so it is quite usuabale to shoot outside obstacles and secenes. i will stick to it . using a cheap lense make me fell happy

 2.
JDM thank you .for the website / yes, it is a good but not ecellent lense.. i fell satisfied for the price and not very big size photoes

 3.
ian, yes, the same with me . i live in china , severe haze every day . so i can only take pics in fews days of the yeay . other tmie always stay home inside for health .

 4.
mike i think the same . so i can save the money haha . if tb21 is ok, the th 200 is reaaly too much , change off the thtal platfrom means we spend several hunfred dollars only to but three leg sticks of gitzo

 5.
ian, yes , the flares seems very strong. copared with my AF35 2D, but the sharpness the same. also with my AIS501.2 I SHOT 100+photoes and ltiitle differeneces between them . if there is variaties is samples. maybe i happened to get a good one? haha
wait for your feed back
here are some i shot with it , the last 20 were shot with it te exif may show 28MM. that is because i input the non cpu data as 28mm to get good expousure

http://www.flickriver.com/photos/74600613@N02/

 6.
well , IQ is not everything, i think a conpact ais28/f2 brings more fun than AF 2.8 . 52MM FILTHER is also benifet in saving money. the focus feeling also better. i have a AI28F2.8, hevily used, spending 90USD. i bought a ais28 f.28 new for 450usd, after comparision i find no differenc e at all and return the ais one.

 7.
Edward, thack you for your introduction

mike, many Nikonians website people say markins base is useful to make th etrpod stable and more light. but i can find no lighter at all in GT2541 , maybe they mean some other style of gitzo such as seires 3. about the stablity, they usually get conclusion from a atricle review form markins website. many say seems no difference form theri own comparision. maybe use of a markins can bring smoe change with telelenses like 400mm 500mm ? i want to have a stable set but dlislike to speng 90USD futher more. if no differrence can be seen wth my 180MM utmost focal length . the ground lvel set is very tight now i feel, maybe because i usually use 20 35 50 ais pimes which is very small size .

 8.
hi friends. i have a gt 2541 ,sine i seldom need the center pos i removed it for a year now shot in the ground level set. some suggest me to add a markins tb21 . but i donte want to spemd more. my question is:
is the ground levle set is as stable as the origional with center column?
are there someones also use a gt2541 /2531 without center column while no kirk or makins plate added to the tripoid? -------only use the ground level set style.

thank yu

 9.
thank you jim for the intrduction article . it give s a detailded discription to thge size weght numbers structyre and so on . futher more i want to get the feelingf and inmptression fo the lense owners, such as is it suitable to shoot landscape ? the cemter and coner sharpness same good ? the infinity focus is ok ? (mine seems soft somehow, at the 105mm focus far scenes) have any conmpairison with other zooms or primes ? the more the better .

 10.
helo frineds , i have just bought this old zoom lense mf to shoot countryside landscape and walk alround.
few discussed so i see not much about it,
is it a decent lense which can produce good images? the body is d700
please share your exprience with it . i am intersterd about every details about it . its good and shotrcomings, and so on
than ko you !
