Thank you for your response Ed. I appreciate the detailed information. I think we have misunderstanding... I'm researching for a gimbal for video shooting (motion stabilizer), more likely a large selfie stick for a small mirrorless camera. I've been using for RRS ball head for my Canon's DSLR for years, and I loved their quality. Thank you again!

I'm planning to purchase Sony a7c soon and start shooting video in addition to nature/landscape photography. I've been shooting with Canon's full frame DSLR for 10+ years, and I'm happy with the image quality. However, the lightweight full frame mirrorless sounds good for backpacking and challenging hikes... yes, I'm getting older. Since I'm a beginner for video shooting, I've been researching additional equipment. I'm looking for a light weight gimbal, preferably table top tripod option, and Arca-Swiss type quick release. Any recommendations? I also wonder if L-bracket on camera can attach to Gimbal without switching the plate? Thank you so much!!

<p>I'm staying in Honolulu in mid June for 5 days.(+Kailua for 4 days) I'd like to shoot some beautiful landscape/ocean (may include city). I'm planning to spend some hours in Hanauma Bay area, and look for some good spots along Waikiki and Diamond Head area. Do you have any suggestions? Good sunrise/sunset locations? I will appreciate any ideas!</p>

<p>Finally, I'm upgrading my 5D MK II to 5Ds R or 5Ds soon. I've been researching both... I mostly shoot natural landscape, wildlife, and tourism. I'm wondering if 5DsR make a big difference from 5Ds? </p> <p> </p>

<p>Thank you for responses. I am surprised that many of you don't have dust issue as much. My 5D II came with oil stains to start with... and cleaning made it worth. It was a nightmare until I purchased oil stain cleaning fluid. After that a small dusts issue is only serious for wide angle (17-40mm, the wide end), which I use often for landscape. As some of you wrote, I am being careful when I change the lens. When I have to change the lenses outdoor, I'm always turned camera off, pointing down, protect from wind, and do it as quick as possible.<br /> Puppy Face, I live in dry static climate (Anchorage, Alaska), which explain a lot! Additionally, during the long cold winter, my windows are shut most of months, I'm sure it's dusty too. I would appreciate if you update me with climate info in your location.</p>

<p>Hi. I'm thinking to upgrade my 5D Mark II to 5DSR sometime soon. My consideration is how bad the sensor dust situation on 5DSR. I've been constant battling for sensor cleaning and dust spotting with my 5D II for past 7 years... especially shooting with wide angle, too many small dust on the corners although I constantly cleaning the sensor. I've been spending too many hours on Lightroom to clean up the dusts. Once I paid for professional cleaning, but soon it was covered with dust again. I hope this upgrading will also reduce the time for dust spotting on the computer. 5DSR owners, please share your experiences, thank you!</p>

I originally used Flash but it is too complicated to use, and I don't have it anymore. I really liked the Lightroom Slideshow module, but it only export as PDF and MP4 format, not swf format! <br /> Do any recommendations? I don't need music for the show. Something similar to Lightroom Slideshow module like customize image size, stroke size, background color, transition time, etc... <br /> Please let me know. Thank you!</p>

<p>Hi from Anchorage, Alaska. As far as the weather, we had a mild winter with far less snow than normal in this year. Almost all snow had already gone, and creeks and some lakes are already open, at least around Anchorage area. 2 months ahead. But the weather is subject to change, you better bring warm clothing and waterproof jackets even in mid summer.<br> For itinerary, I don't pack too many locations in 7 days. There are so many places to explore with photography purpose in each area. Instead of driving between places to places, I would select either Kenai Peninsula or north to Denali, and spend more time to a few locations.<br> Landscape in Alaska is so open and vast. The wide angle lens is must, you have 17-40mm, that'll works. For wildlife, my 400mm is not long enough for most of the time.<br> I hope this info will help. Enjoy your trip.</p>
