Hi, everyone! Have just signed up and am looking for advice, please. Does anyone know whether the current Gitzo flat plate (for systematic tripods 3,4,5) will fit a tripod I’ve been given. The 413 dates from the late 1980’s/ early 1990’s. Four leg sections, eight feet tall- ish with column extended. Weighs over 10lbs so I’d like to remove the column and just have a top plate. Any advice (except buy a carbon - I know...) appreciated.
