I can't seem to find the link to update my bio any more. When I see my page, it does not have any options to update my profile notes. Any ideas?

Depending on where you are based, you could try joining websites that are specific to model photography. So for instance, in the UK we have Purpleport, which is by far tge best I have come across and there are lots of models to choose from. In the past I had used ModelMayhem, which has more US based models.

I am a UK based wedding photographer. I also spend an extraordinary amount of time in various groups for brides and brides to be. My understanding is that the bride claim a lot less about guests views being blocked by a photographer or videographer than their hired photographer's view being obstructed by a guest. That being said, I like to get the guests on my side, never see Uncle Bob with a more expensive camera than me as a threat and also, I talk to the vicar before the ceremony to get instructions about what they would not want me to do. Disrupting the vicar is certainly not going to get me more business, nor any other photographer, so I take on board your critique in that respect.

I am a UK based professional wedding and portrait photographer and camera stores have had it hard along these shores as well. The biggest chain closed down and then reopened again as a more efficient business. One of the larger independents closed down too a few years ago. Curiously, the two small independent stores tucked close to each other in an old arcade have all managed to stay open. One of them have even moved to the premise opposite which is much bigger. I don't know how these two small stores managed to stay open as business have remained the same in the last twenty years to my knowledge. I bought my first digital camera (a Canon S30) from one of them in 2002. The other, which still does business in old and new gear has had business from me from time to time. Whenever I have visited these stores, there has been a small group of people looking. Maybe I am wrong but my impression is that there are local factors involved in these businesses failing and sometimes, doing things the same way over 60 years means gathering a lot of inefficiency and failing to connect to the new customers.

<p>As others have suggested expensive options, I shall suggest a lower price compromise. Pick up a secondhand Canon 6D full frame camera and a second hand Canon 70-200 f2.8 lens. If you look hard, the combo should be around $1500-1800. Crank your ISO up when needed and you can fix it all later in post.</p>

<p>Hi Jennifer, are you getting this green tinge with any other flash or lights within this same spot? If you aren't it may well be the lights and any screen you have.<br> Custom white balance as has been suggested above would sort out the green tinge issue from this light. Also, if you are shooting RAW and using software such as Lightroom, this is such an easy fix.</p>

<p>For me personally, on a full frame I'd take the fastest 50 I have.</p>

<p>Canon and Nikon are personal choices. The Canon 6D offers better low light capability than the 5D Mk3. So if the dual card slots and the 1/8000 shutter speed are absolutely a must, I'd choose a Canon 6D.<br> Of course, Canon has more faster lenses to choose from if low light is what you really need. </p>

<p>As others have said, for your needs it would be an overkill to get the more expensive newer Canon. What is the problem with your existing colour palette? Is this a postprocessing issue? If you feel like a change, I'd say add some prime lenses like Sigma Art 85mm f1.4 and the Nikon 135mm f2 lens to the setup and see how that changes your work. Before buying, I would recommend hiring those lenses for a weekend to test them out.</p>

<p>The YN 50 1.8 was their first AF lens. It is a cheap lens, but 7/10 in normal shooting conditions if the Canin branded plastic fantastic is 10/10. However, the 35mm f2 is really good as long as you don't mind fixing a but of chromatic aberration in Lightroom. It is 8/10 if not more compared to the old Canon 35 f2, which is so expensive. The new Canon 35 f2 is a different beast.<br> If you are ona budget, get YN. Ignore the snobs.</p>

<p>As Robin says, the 24mm on your 70D would be close to the 35mm which us a really useful focal length.</p>

<p>Unless you are really into film, why not buy a Sony A7, buy an adapter and use the lens that way?</p>
