1. Matt, If the face is perfectly exposed but the pace is over exposed, then I thought you reduce the light of the skirt (if possible) and keep same exposure settings or increase light on face (if co rolling light on skirt not possible) and decrease exposure using smaller aperture (because using flash) or nd filter. Am I missing something? I understand the exposure on face might still be controlled through ettl/similar technology. Is that the reason for your contrary advice?
 2. Rust is spreadable. Unlike some other oxidations, rust is powdery and falls off. Also it acts as catalyst for more oxidation. If it rusted, clean it throughly and keep it away. Similar to fungus. I don't how close of a friend you are, but rust and fungus are not friendly to give
 3.
Hi Folks,
I am trying to figure how best to utilize my new dual monitor setup. I have two monitors which are unequal specifications. One is a HP 5K 10 bit 27 inch color monitor that i got to do lightroom work and the second is my older samsung monitor that is smaller than 1080P resolution and is 23 inches in size.

I finally got 10 bit color working on the HP monitor and now i am trying to figure out how best to utilize both my monitors. What do you folks do?

I have seen the videos on how you "CAN" use the monitors, but i want to get to know how real folks actually use them :)

Thanks

 4.
Hi Folks,
I am embarking on my first wedding and i need help with the contract. Till now i have been doing small events only and so havent really been doing contracts other than a simple email etc.
Even though this event is also small enough to be in my comfort zone from a photography perspective, i do think the emotions run high for weddings. So I want to have a contract.

I pulled some sample contracts etc from the web and from the Best business practices for photographers, but I am not comfortable doing this myself. I dont even know what aspects to put into the contract.

I live in NJ. Can you folks refer me to a lawyer who understands photography business and maybe willing to help a newbie craft a simple contract?

Thanks

 5.
I love Adoramapix, bay photo. I would say they are medium range.
Thanks

 6.
If you are used to folder based organization, just import into lightroom and say leave in current location. The only thing is in the future when you want to moves stuff around just do it in lightroom and you should be fine. The same things you can do in the folder interface in the mac can be done inside lightroom and so the learning curve is non existent.
If do end up moving/ deleting photos outside of lightroom then it can be a hassle to refind them and link them up again, but t is doable. Just double work.

 7.
Are you on windows or mac?
If Mac, look at Bento.
If you want cloud, Sales force cant be wrong.
