  1. i guess Image Capture is an Apple product, but i can't figure out how to get it to import photos into folders according to date created. it did it automatically on my MBP
  2. my early 2011 MacBook Pro recently $#!+ the bed, and i thought the auto-image importer was Canon's Image Capture i would plug in the SD card, or connect the camera, and a window would pop up, asking if i would like to select indivitdual files, or import all files. and with either selection, the pictures would be downloaded into the PICTURES folder, divided into their separate forlders, depending on date file created. now, with my new IMac, Image Capture just downloads to the PICTURE folder, and doesn't separate out into date-created folders i can't find a preference to create individual folders for this
  3. i need to record the activity of a cat in my house at night. so its a small, slow-moving target that needs to trigger the motion detection. all of the searches come back with cameras that have every bell and whistle i DO NOT NEED, OR WANT, in a price range i don't want to pay. here is a long list of the only things that i need in this camera: - night vision - motion activation - micro SD card slot - wired connection to computer - driver software so i can watch the video here's what i DO NOT need: - HD of any sort - any kind of mini/micro/hidden/camoflage - wifi - blue tooth - ethernet - 2-way audio - 1-way audio - digital zoom - any kind of zoom - push notifications - android / iphone monitoring - any other unnecessary silliness i bought this thing: Are you a human? but the instructions are entirely unintelligible. the price was spot-on though thanks for your help
