  1. Thanks, I’ll check that stop. I’ll try and clean up the contacts on the other film back
  2. For closure. I had a second back on the way. When I put it on the camera I heard the sweetest sound, the autofocus! The display is on in the viewfinder. looks like it was the back.
  3. When I press the shutter button(with the dark slide out) it will not auto focus, there is no display in the viewfinder and the shutter does not fire when i press it all the way. I’ve put 2 different sets of batteries in. I’ve taken off the lens and film back numerous times. The lens is 45mm 2.8 af. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks
  4. I figured it out. The tension lever slipped out of place.
  5. Just got an Omega 45E. Totally new to 4x5. Got a couple shots of the son and wife. Used a 545 Polaroid back for test shots to check lighting. While putting the Polaroid back in it went loose. Is this repairable? Thanks
  6. Is this dust acquired during drying Or did something go wrong in processing ? It’s not on all but most. This is lomo cn400. I used the Arista c41 kit. It didn’t go as smooth as I would have liked. Some of the images look ok so I figure I’m on the right track.
  7. thanks for the replies. the lens is a Canon FD 28mm 2.8. I'll have a look tonight to see if it looks like it was opened up. I'd like to see if i can put it back together properly if it can be saved.
  8. Or is this operator error? Canon EF and 28mm 2.8.
  9. hello folks, I was just given a voightlander vsl 2 with a voightlander 35mm f 2.8 lens attached by my father in law. I’d like to use that lens on my A-1 or EF cameras. I have a 50 and a 28 already. The voightlander is supposedly a m42 mount. I found an m42 to fd adapter online. Curious if anyone here has done this. Thanks
