Hey guys and gals! I've been lurking for a while on the LF forums, having mostly shot MF in my life. I'm planning a project that combines the two formats....a 6x17 wide field roll film camera, which would require a LF lens with a pretty big image circle.
My question is this one: Is there a classic lens that can be used with a wide field camera? My requirements bare minimum are a 179mm image circle and around a 105 degree field of view.
I've seen some super cool looking brass, turn of the century (20th that is) lenses...but not sure any of them will work with what I need? Obviously I'm after two things...cost (I cannot drop a huge sum on a newer lens) and "looks". Because brass just looks better than anodized aluminum. ;)

Thanks all!! Really appreciate this group!
