  1. Offered for sale at $2295.00 plus $30.00 shipping, ship in CONUS only, or pick up in metro Atlanta area. Purchased from authorized Leica dealer in Sept '17. Includes 34 to 40.5mm step up ring and UV MRC Nano filter. In mint to as new condition, boxes and instructions, and etc. Includes copy of bill of sale from dealer.
  2. I bought one a couple of months ago. I'm a lifelong Leica user and the M-D is a trip down memory lane. It is the only one of my Leicas that I'm using now and am pleased with a return to truly deliberate photography. Initially I missed some conveniences that are absent from the M-D. However such longings were quickly forgotten. I am an outside, daylight, color photographer who uses 35mm and 24mm lenses.
  3. I think that this is great and it really shows off the technical quality of the lens. It is time for me to park my old 24/2.8 and 21/2.8 and replace them with the "new" Super Elmars.
  4. I agree that it is a 1941 IIIc based on the serial number as reported by Chester Sartorius in his book "Identifying Leica Cameras". It appears original and may have historic value. It was probably shipped with a 50mm f3.5 Elmar.
