I like the exposure and subject matter on this one. I'm not sure the bottom 25% of the frame is necessary, since the field stubble is the least interesting part of the photo. Generally, I prefer using the full frame and not cropping, so I can see why you might resist that idea. However, cropping it 25% would also get the photo to adhere to the rule of thirds. Nice shot.
I like the composition and the subject matter (I like photographing grain elevators, too). I also like the thematic contrast between the oil tankers and the grain elevator. My only suggestion might be to lighten up the shadows a bit.
I uploaded five small files to Photo.net, added tags and other metadata, and tried to transfer the photos to a gallery. The transfer stalled and when I tried again I lost all of the metadata. How can I add it back in? This site is really poorly designed.
