<p>The arrangement of the contacts is the same for Nikon SLR and Leica M6TTL and R8, which means you can use the Nikon cord for off-camera flash with the Leicas.</p>

<p>There is no setting for the film speed: the camera doesn't have a light meter.</p>

<p>The shutter should close when you let up your finger. The green speeds are all Bulb, not timed, but it sounds like your shutter might need a CLA.</p>

<p>Fogging from a light leak at some point in the process before the film was developed, probably while loading it.</p>

<p>Not good for low light, contrasty scenes, eh?</p>
