No need to win lottery lol. And yes I plan by mid summer to upgrade to FF. As for primes I like them but I hate switching lenses when I'm out and about doing portraits. Plus I've been asked to do some sports photos this spring so I'm kinda in a bind

<p>Im looking at upgrading my gear as I have a nikon 18-55(kit), nikon 50 1.8, Tamron 18-200 3.5-5.6, Tamron 19-35mm. Im unsure if I want to go full nikon or a mix. Im looking at Tamron 28-70, tamron 70-200, nikon 24-120, nikon 85 with 35 both 1.8. I like to do alot of environmental (with a background), newborns, maternity and couples. So what lens would you recommend and why.</p>

<p>So here's the deal Im focusing alot more on portrait/newborns and Im looking for a new lens. I have a nikon d7000 with a nikon 18-55 kit lens, 50mm 1.8, tamron 18-200 3.5-5.6, tamron 18-35 3.5. My main issue is that with the zooms im not getting the nice blurred backgrounds. I get it nice with my 50 but I want something where I can step back and get some distance. Im looking at ether a nikon 85mm, nikon 105 macro, a sigma 24-70 or maybe a tamron 70-200. Im trying to stay under $1000 USD and im open to buy used as long as I know they are in good shape. So I would like to know what some of you portrait people think. Thank you</p>

<p>Im debating between a few different lenses. I shoot mostly portrait and newborn trying to get more practice doing these. So I have a 50mm f/1.8 and 18-200mm f/3.5-5.4. Im looking at a sigma 24-70mm f/2.8, sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 and a 85mm f/1.8. So Im curious to know what your advise would be. My budget is 800 roughly so if you have any other ideas please let me know. Maybe a combination of lenses or something</p>
