  1. Do any of you have experience loading a No. 4 one exposure at a time? I'm thinking of trimming 11x14 sheet film to fit. Film For Classics doesn't have any 103 film for sale at the moment. If so, how do you put the film in so it sits snugly against the curved guide along its entire length and thus stays in the film plane when you close up the box? Thank you.
  2. The first one I bought was a Canon Canonet QL-17 G-III in 1974. Really fine grabshot camera. The first one I had was a Kodak Brownie Starflash my Dad gave me when I was about 10 years old.
  3. Thanks, Dustin. That sounds like what I had in mind, but have a machine shop do the work instead of me, on a 220 reel to make sure the spiral is long enough. I'll need to wait until I know what the exact width of the filmstrip is to make sure it fits smoothly into both spirals.
  4. 1. 103 film will be available soon from Film For Classics, according to communication with them in April 2018. If you have developed this size of film before, can you tell me how you did it? In a tank of some kind? See-sawing the filmstrip through a tray in the dark? Other? 2. If you loaded sheet film instead, what size did you cut the sheet to for one exposure? Thank you.
  5. John, I am no mechanical adept. I'll contact Flutot's. Thank you for your response.
  6. I have a Kodak No. 4 Panoram with pristine cosmetics. However, the shutter button is frozen, and one of the latches that keeps the back panel closed doesn't work well. That side keeps popping loose. Does anyone know of a repair shop that can fix these problems? Then there is the matter of adapting it for sheet film use. Thank you very much.
