  3. I recently bought a t70 and upon bringing it home, realized it had the old, corroded batteries still in the terminal. After some trial and error I finally got the batteries out and cleaned the terminals. The camera works now with two new batteries, but the problem is that the small piece that the battery door is supposed to click into has broken off (see photo - ignore the leftover residue), so the door doesn't stay shut. I can see that the camera works but the door has to be pushed down, not just held closed. I'm bound and determined to get it to work somehow (elastics, clamps, something..) but wondered if anyone has any advice. I still have the small piece of plastic, and I'm debating super gluing it back on but I don't know if that would hold the door in place either. Thoughts?? I know that the t70 bodies are relatively affordable so if nothing works I may just buy another one.
