    Bellisimo! Tack Sharp focus and obviously great timing. I'm just getting around to photographing birds and I know I can learn a lot from you. I'm curious to know what you did, if anything, to blur our the background in post-processing. The detail says you shot at F9.9 so I would have expected more distraction behind the birds.

    Thanks Roger. Love the idea of owls. I wasn't planning on bringing my 600mm lens, but maybe I'll rethink that.

    I'm heading to Churchill this coming November to photograph Polar Bears. I'll be flying from Philadelphia to Winnipeg and then on to Churchill. I have flexibility to extend my time in the region and am looking for ideas on where else to explore. My primary interest is wildlife and landscapes. Any ideas?
