1.
This is really artistic. I've been trying to capture whirlwinds before.....those small ones that form whenever there is a thunder storm. I've never been able to find the perfect combination of aperture and shutter speed.

 2.
I know the kind of problems all of you guys face especially when most of us haven't been to any professional photography schools. It's the same with me especially when it comes to choosing lenses and cameras and what the best professional combination is. I developed my interest just 2 years ago and I've been relying heavily on online tutorials and communities like these to gain the necessary knowledge. Last month a friend recommended to me some websites like http://beagreatphotographer.net/ and a couple of YouTube videos that gave some advice on general photography and also some techniques on making it look professional. I guess these mediums might have a lot of tips on picture styles too like vivid and landscape etc. and this might solve your problem.

 3.
I don't think it's ethical to take photos of people in public places without their consent but this seems confusing. There always is a grey area as far as this is concerned.

 4.
I don't think being clichéd is boring, unimaginative or bad. As far as photography is concerned, I believe in reaching to the core of the piece of art an artist captures. Like it happened with you so you don't know how the final result will be no matter how uniquely you try to capture the essence of the scene.

 5.
Yes creativity is something that might be out of the ordinary. I think this has a lot to do with how successfully a photographer captures the essence of the picture.

 6.
Well I think both are quite different from eachother. I don't think art should be subject to prejudice and bias for what I believe is in the universality of art. It is something that extends beyond borders and appeals to the human mind irrespective of caste, creed, nationality and colour.

 7.
Wow that's really nice. My uncle has been my inspiration since he has been into photography for 7 years and he often uses soft grids on his soft box to control light issues.

 8.
I think the essence of a photo is what the photographer wishes to capture. It could be anything ranging from an emotion or a feeling to a tangible quite visible scene.

 9.
Hello people! This is my first ever post to a forum since I do not use the internet much and I'm not a very tech-savvy person. Today I decided to surf the net and luckily I came across your forum because I'm interested in photography and I want to gather more knowledge about it. I'm a single parent and that's why I don't have the time and resources to get some professional coaching so I thought maybe joining communities like yours would help me. It's been 2 years since I'm into all this and I still consider myself a novice so all I want from you guys is help, guidance, tips and tricks and photography advice. As far as the risks are concerned, I think that's the thrill in photography and this is what drives most of us.
