  1. I had a driver issue with an older Canon printer for which there was no driver for Catalina. I got Printfab and it resolved the issue. It costs money but you get a 30 day trial. For me, it was the saviour of my Pro 9000MKII. The url is www dot printfab dot net PrintFab | Printer Driver & RIP for Mac Below is the link for an R2400 Titel
  2. Great image, Glenn. I really like the lines. Cropped; gradient mask for exposure and saturation in sky; bumped up sharpness and texture a bit.
  3. Thanx for posting Mike. The more the merrier? I wanted to put a murder of unafraid crows in there but couldn't find an appropriate image. Canvas size, cloning, duplicating etc. using PS.
  4. Once again, Thanx Mike. 'Karen stood lookout as the other cows hid in the tall grass.' Alternate captions: 'They waited for the guy in the red shirt'. 'Unfortunately, Ambling Past the Cows didn't have the same tourism draw as Running of the Bulls' Many more come to mind. Just a bit of a straighten for the horizon (based on distant roof), selection and duplication of horns and scalp, blur in accordance with perspective, border.
  5. Fantastic, Mike. Forced perspective at it's best. Thank you for posting. I am ran out of interesting candidates a long time ago and I believe the challenge has suffered for it.
  6. Shout out to JDMvW, luis triguez and several others. Thanx for visiting the forums on pNet regularly (and showing that someone actually is):) I fail at reciprocating by visiting your posts in other forums on a regular basis. My bad. Luis, I'm sorry for your loss.
  7. There are no rules as to how you apply your post processing to this image; but, please let us know what you have done so we can all learn. If you would like to post a candidate image next week, please ensure it is of sufficiently high resolution for manipulation by the participants (3000px on the long side, 300dpi for example). Most of all, let's have fun while we are learning or demonstrating how we use our post-processing software, imaginations and interpretations. The photo posted last week as a challenge was of San Francisco beach here in Uruguay as seen from my balcony. The photo I am offering for this week's challenge is from Englehart, Ontario close to where I used to live but about 9,500km away from Punta Colorada. At time of preparing this post (5AM in Uruguay and 3AM in Englehart), the temperatures of these locations were more than 70˚C apart. It is +32˚C here in Punta Colorada and it is about -39˚C in Englehart (Kirkland Lake Airport). I find it amazing that people thrive in both places. Please, would someone else like to post a challenge? Please, Please.

  10. Brings back memories of the 'Paint By Numbers' kits that used oil-based paints and turpentine to clean up. They came complete with 'frame'.
  11. Thanx Glenn. The sharpened image reveals that the Studebaker design elements that I thought I saw are not there.
  12. Great image, Glenn. Top of the Season to you and all observers of this thread. Onward to 2022! A lot of cloning, warping and colourizing to clean things up a bit. I notice the evidence of a fire in the distance (lower R).

Can you make it look like it does at Christmas?
