I've had this stuff far too long. My Kodak large format went long ago. Bought a studio estate in the '80s and have already moved this stuff too many times. I can only use 4 X 5 now and have way too much stuff unused. I'm not moving these again. Post reply or PM; you pay postage. Uploaded PIX into gallery but can't figure out how to insert them here, edit post, or delete my previous post. tagged w/ 4 X 5, 5 X 7, & 8 X 10

There's the rub! the S.C is attached to a black Nikkormat that is worth about $10 and I already have an S.C and several S. The seller thinks he's got a classic gem! I've been shooting a 50/1.4 S since Ektachrome was only 3, no complaints.

Besides the engraving on the lens barrel, is there any difference in the coating or the image quality between the S and the S.C normal 50mm NIKKOR lens?

Contaflex Prima shutter speed question
puderse replied to steve_mareno1's topic in Classic Manual Film Cameras
I'd bet I've looked at three the last month at various auction sites that I might ad to my Pantar/Contaflex/Contina assortment. Yes, Contaflexes with primes other than Pantar can get expensive! -

I've the three models that take the aux Pantar lenses. Tessar won't fit. Everything you need; Contaflex SLR - Wikipedia. Complex shutter not worth cost of repair. For $10 you can probably find one that works -

If you plan to use your camera, shop around the for new-old-stock Kodak replacement bellows. I recently bought four still in their original packaging. I've brought three of my 120 folders into the twenty-first century with amazing results. Re-bellows on other sizes of "art deco" Kodaks just isn't worth the hassle.

I had wanted an S2 since I was in photo school in '69. Spotted an S2a w/40mm at auction about 10 years ago and got it for what I thought was a good price. Since then I've added an S2 and assorted lenses and other stuff that makes them easier to use. It's my go to 2 1/4 square W/A camera. My Rollei is usually along for the ride. I've never doubted the Bronica would get the shot. Almost always on a tripod and treated with respect. I wore out an RB and a 645 in the studio. I'm nearing the end of my second career (non-photographic) and I enjoy hand made photography with well crafted instruments.

I bought a big unused can labeled 'aircraft instrument grease' in a paint can at a GSA auction at a local Air Force Base years ago. I'll never use a quart of it if I live to be 1000. The top of the grease in the can still has the swirls from when it was manufactured. I've used maybe a thimble full. Need some?
