I own a canon EOS 550D but I am an inexperienced user. Looking to upgrade kit lens to a good all round general one that I can take on holiday Looking at the EF-S 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS USM and the STM version of the same lens. Was unsure whether my 550D would work well with the new USM model. Please can anyone advise or suggest another alternative. Thanks
