It takes a lot of talent put a loaded camera in to a bag, let alone take it out. Years of practice has made me a master at accidental shooting.

Happy 100th Birthday, Nikon and the Development of the D850

Well, there is this: Nikon Made the Weirdest Music Video for Its 100th Birthday Caution, some may find this cheesy, weird and otherwise harmful to ones health. -
Big sky is impressive, for sure, but I like the range of tones across the river. It's been almost 39 years since my last visit there, and considering that I live in North Idaho and head to Minnesota often, not stoping is a crime.

Photo of James Comey testifying before U.S. Congress
Palouse replied to Hector Javkin's topic in Casual Photo Conversations
As I've pondered this for a while, I started to wonder about what pictures those cheap/millennial/smartphone-toting newspapers were able to capture. And, I agree, a government man talking into a microphone is not particularly newsworthy, nor is it a shot of a decisive moment, it may come to be an iconic picture years from now. And it may help stave off the demise of professional photo journalism for some time. -

Very interesting write-up. Great shots, but as for the subject in general---circus comes to mind! And a few folks appear to have not gotten the dress code memo--or perhaps they should be congratulated for being courageous enough to dare to be different. -
I id'd many of them. But without you putting numbers next to each picture it isn't easy to link the names with the shot. Yeah, like, the one with feathers and 2 legs is a shrike.

Well taking farm pictures in Utah and Idaho could land you in jail.
