1. Hello, I put my Mamiya 7 II away for years without being used. I just picked it and try to use it but it deos not turn on. I put new batteries and tried all reset technics I found on the forums and did not help. Anyone knows a good camera repair for Mamiya 7 here in Winnipeg or in Canada where I can send it for repair ? thanks
 2.
Thanks for your comment . I do have the new neewer model , it just can't fit . I am afraid I will have to get a new monolight because I also feel that the light stand is too light for this big octa softbox .
Do you have any recommendation ?
Thanks

 3.
Hi,
I ordered a Impact LUXBANX OCTA SOFTBOX - MEDIUM and Impact Speed Ring from B&H . However , I have a light kit from Neewer 300 system I bought from amazon . This can not fit in this softbox .
Any recommendation on which speed ring I should get in order to be able to use it with my Neewer strobe system ?
Thanks .

 5.
Hi all,
Thanks for all your help . At the end , I decided not to be the main photographer because it became bigger and bigger and I had many responsibilities for the organization . I did get a chance to make few shots , here are 2 . All taken with D810 , sigma 35 f1.4 and SB910 .
Not many, but any comment is welcome .
Thanks again .

 6.
All good , thanks . I will try to use the same setting in my D700 for skin tones and WB (if I remember it ) :)
I have this weekend to practice the D810 setting .
Will post some pics after wedding ..
Thanks you all .
One last question . RAW or JPEG or SRAW ?
On the D700, I use to shoot Raw+Jpeg .

 7.
Very useful information , thanks a lot .
FOr indoor flash , I always use 1/60s indoor . But you are suggesting 1/200s and f 5.6 or 11 . his means I will need high ISO , correct ? Wouldn't this give me grain in my images ?

 8.
Thanks Shun,
Wedding is next weekend , August 15th .
What kind of SD and CF cards do you suggest ?
Yes, I have extra battery

 9.
Hi ILkka,
I did couple of weddings for friend with a D700 and SB800 , but I am not a professional . Way in the past I did family and friends wedding with a Mamiya 645 film . But for all the wedding I did for family and friends, it was success .
I still have my SB800, I guess I can use it for backup . For second camera , I consider my fuji X-T1 (ya different lol)
I have the D810 but did not have the chance to use it a lot , I am very familiar with D700 I sold for D810 .
As for photography experience , I do mostly family pictures, holidays pictures .

 10.
Hi all,
I will be taking picture of my brother next weekend , small wedding . I will be using D810 with 24-70,85F1.8g and sigma 35 f1.4 and SB910 .
That's all I need I think
What kind of setting do you use in your D810 ?
Also , any suggestion on memory cards ?
Thanks for your suggestions

 11.
Hi,
To add a little bit more details
- I will be using for outdoor , my son is starting next week . But I will have occasion to shoot indoor too, so having a lens for both will be a plus .
- The kids do not use the full field to play ,8years old , they only use half of it or less . SO i THINK 200 should be enough for now .
I haven't used non of these lenses .
Is it a good idea to by the ninon 70-200 on ebay to save money ?
Thanks all

 12.
Mike , not looking for free lunch , but might have free desert . lol
I am convinced for the need of the f2.8 , for indoors . Ok , now I will sow between nikon 70-200 or Sigma . I will post some pics to thank everybody .

 13.
Thanks . No , I do nto want to carry a monopod to shoot soccer , I want hand held . Looks like the 200-400 is heavy.
I don't find flexibility on the fix 300/2.8 , I would prefer a zoom .
I will check reviews on the 70-300 VR and some sigma new super zooms. I might be wrong but I always have in mind that super zoom are not that sharp , but never tried them .
Thanks again .

 14.
Thanks for all comment and suggestions . I am now considering the sigma because of price and the nikon 200-400 for bigger range . Deos the 200-400 has this nice background bokeh wide open like the 700-200 f:2.8 ?
Any comment ?
