  1. I too am getting more and more frustrated with the ultra short login time. This is the only site of the many I frequent that does such a thing.
  2. From what I read on the Help forum, the powers-that-be decided for some odd reason that no one can stay logged in for very long. This is the only forum that I've ever experienced doing that. It's also one of the slowest loading sites, and I have 200/5 megabit internet service. I've limited my time here because of all the quirks and bugs.
  3. I also find that this site is tedious, having to constantly login and be redirected to the wrong page. No other forum I use does that. There is this cavalier attitude that the users are at fault complaining about all the shortcomings, something I don't appreciate at all. As I've mentioned before, I don't use much of the site because of the difficulties, but even the little I use is a pain.
  4. On an iPad or iPhone, if you touch and hold on an image, a menu should show up to open in a new tab. I'm on PN for not much more than the Nikon forum and some uploads of No Words images, and I'm consciously staying away from the areas that are problematic.
  5. I've learned a long time ago to set my browser to use tabs and I have my mouse (still the most efficiently way to use a computer) set that when I click the scroll button, it opens to a new tab with the link, then to get back to the original page, I just close the tab. Best way I find to avoid back that does not go back to where you were.
  6. I'm getting more annoyed with the constant login requirement, especially because it does not go back to the page I was on when logging in. I'm on a few other forums and none have a short login, they perform very well. I agree with those who said this site was implemented far too soon, like the reply made about Navy shakedown cruise, which is actually done before the ship is put into service, so a shakedown cruise analogy does not work here.
  7. It worked. I'm glad I don't have use the br code anymore. Once more just for the record.
  8. This is a test of plain old carriage returns as I type to get paragraph breaks. This is the next paragraph where I used two carriage returns.
