1. Hey everyone, thanks for the replies. I checked my shutter curtains with a strong light in a pitch black environment and couldn't see any holes in the shutter. What I did notice was that light seemed to be coming in around the top and bottom of the shutter curtains, but was more of a line of light along the edge of the curtain. Could this be a possible cause of the dark spot on the negatives? I've used this particular camera for about 4 years now and this just almost all of a sudden started happening a few months ago. I'm very careful to never point my camera at the sun or leave the lens wide open when walking about outside.
 2. Hello everyone, does anyone know if this could be a light leak? It's not on every photo I take with the camera, but is always in the same place and is sometimes stronger than others.
 3. Does anyone have any useful techniques to keep film in order when it’s inside a camera bag? For example, if I label my film 1 through 10, what are some ways to be able to quickly locate the next roll (when I finish #1 and I’m ready to load #2) to minimize time fumbling around in my camera bag. Thank you all for the tips!
 4.
Hi all.
What is the best way to hold a 35mm negative perfectly flat in the Flextight x5 holder? Since I have to cut to the edge of the frame that I want to scan and use in the holder, there isn't enough left for the magnetic cover to grab on to causing it to curl and raise above the focus point of the scanner. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips?
Thank you.

 5.
Hello everyone.
When I complete scanning with the Flextight X5 and get the final scan and view it at 100%, some areas will be out of focus. It is consistent with any negative that I place into the holder. When I am still on the preview page and select only the portion of the final scan that was out of focus previously and not the entire negative, it is scanned incredibly sharp. Has anyone experienced anything like this or know why this might be happening?
Thank you.
