    Not sure when or where I got this from but I remember reading it. Basically it went something like this. A camera is a time machine, in the sense that it can capture an image that exists at a specific instant and a specific point in time and space, freeze and store it, for later retrieval and transfer to a more permanent facility, where it can be viewed, over and over again.

    Hmmm! Can't really speak to the critiquing points. But! It sort of reminds me of a couple of signs I once had on a wall of a place I once had. It was a bunch of years ago, but I still remember the signs. One said "don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out of it alive", and the other said "life is like a bowl of cherries, but you can't have them all".

    I saw that too. At the moment however, it is as Papa Tango points out, more of an annoyance than a problem. I do think it's some kind of weird glitch rather than a deliberate invasion (so to speak). That said, I'm not going to be posting anymore stuff (at least for the moment) to either of the two albums I created, so I'm going to hold off for a while and see what happens.

Located in The Hudson Highlands, West of New Paltz NY, Lake Minnewaska State Park, with 22 thousand plus acres of open space, 35 miles of carriage roads, 50 miles of hiking trails, and beautiful views like this one. Lake Minnewaska State Park, is well worth a visit. It’s also one of the premier rock climbing spots in The Eastern U.S. of A.. "Shawangunk", is The Shawangunk Ridge in NY, The Kittattinys in N.J., Blue Mountain in Pa., and The Blue Ridge in Va. Basically, The Eastern boundary of The Appalachians.

    N047A94x19-1 “Birch Leaves” Jamaica Bay NWR, NYC, October 1994. One doesn’t normally think of National Wildlife Refuges and urban areas like New York City at the same time, but that’s exactly where Jamaica Bay NWR is. Straddling the border between the boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens, with most of it on The Queens side. Its 12600 acres includes open water, salt, brackish, and fresh water ponds, saltmarshes, wooded uplands, and of course, Jamaica Bay. It’s location on The Eastern Flyway for Migratory Birds, makes it a favorite spot for birdwatchers during The Spring and Fall migrations, and it’s accessible via public transportation.

Wildlife that can be seen on the reserve, includes deer and groundhogs.
