    <p>My mistake. It's the Photos App in win10, not the Windows photo viewer that I have trouble with my D500 NEFs. When I try to edit in the Photos app I get the error message "Can't edit. We're having trouble opening this file for editing." </p>

    NEF code update works for thumbnails, but the windows 10 photo viewer won't edit nor show info for D500 RAW files. I use LR for processing but like to have a quick view of info and/or quickly see a crop of images. Hopefully there will be a cure for this issue soon.
