1.
Thank you Michael for responding. The Broncolor Dealer never mentioned the Mobile LED to me. I will look into it.

 2.
I am interested in Purchasing either a Broncolor Picolite or mobile 2 Flash Heads to be used outside on a Lite Pole. They are basically the same Flash Head and they weigh under 3 Lbs. Which is Great for outside work. I have been told that these 2 Lights should not be used for Portraits, Engagements, Weddings etc. they do not provide the Proper Light Coverage. These 2 Flash heads sonly have light Coverage for small Product Work.
I would be using the Flash Head on my Broncolor A2L Power Pack, Broncolor Beauty Dish and some Broncolor Soft Boxes. I have no experience with any of these 2 Light Heads. I use the Broncolor G4's. Is there someone who has some experience with one of these Light Heads and can advise me on the amount of Light Spread that they can throw.
Thank You
Mike Zentena

 3.
Ian thank you for getting back to me. I am very happy to hear you also use the Lumedyne System on the X5d-r and it works well. I am going to discuss what has been written on this lighting Forum with the Quantum Rep. and see what we can come up with.

Thank You Again
Mike Zentena

 4.
Ian, Nathan, thank you for your responses. No I was not aware of the Firmware Upgrades. Because of the 2 TO 4 stop over-exposures I set-up a session with the Quantum Distributor not a Store Salesman. You would think he would know about the 2 Firmware Upgrades. The Distributor then start to blame my Lumedyne Battery Pack, that I should be using the Dedicated Quantum X5d-R Power Pack. (forgot the name) I told him that all the articles say the X5d-R also works with the Lumedyne and Norman Power Packs. Then he was accusing me of not being experienced enough with digital and referring to my previous results with my 2 old Quantum X to the old film days too much and that I should be adjusting the Power on the Power Pack to get the results I want. I told him that would not be TTL but would be Manual.
Ian, Nathan, what do the 2 of you use to Power the X5d-R?

Thank you again Ian and Nathan.

 5.
I purchased a Quantum Q-Flash X5d-R (400 watt) along with the Co-Pilot. I used a Lumedyne Battery Pack and Large Battery to run the Flash. My camera used was a Canon 1Dx. However all I got was over exposed photos at about 2 to 4 stops over. I had the Power Pack set at 400 watts. In TTL it should not mater what the wattage is. I brought the unit back to the store and tried it on other Canon cameras, 5D Mark 11 and Mark 111. We received the same results. I am just getting back into photography after a 5 year illness. I photographed weddings with various Hasselblad TTL Bodies with the Original Quantum X and the same Lumedyne 400 watt Power Pack. I never had any problems. Power Pack always set to full 400 watts and the Quantum Hasselblad TTL Module worked 100% of the time. The store took the X5D-R and the Co-Pilot back.
Has anyone experienced this type of over exposure using the Quantum X5D-R or have any ideas how I could prevent this over exposure? I would really like to get back into Photography using the best 400 watt TTL System.
