  1. Taking 5 on Batsto Village Mansion's front porch Canon EOS 5D Mark III, EF 24-105mm f/4 IS USM. Shot at 24mm, 1/125 second, ISO 200
  2. An attempt at creating art from a photo. Stacked 3 different exposures, played with HDR and Photoshop filters. Will struggle through learning brushes next. Canon EOS 5d Mark III, EF 16-35mm f4L IS USM, 3 separate exposures.
  3. Congratulations on taking a great shot and creating a stunningly magnificent shot Kamala. I love your work.
  4. The Gardner's cottage at Skylands Manor in Ringwood New Jersey.
  5. I caught myself several times anticipating the features of my Canon 5dMIII several times. I even looked for the screen on the back of the camera to review my shot! ha ha ha. My wife and I laughed about that several times. For me this was a very interesting experience and one that brings you back to fully manual photography in a good way. I still have 2 more rolls left and look forward to shooting some more film. I will however definitely go to a different lab given the lack of quality from this lab. I checked my lens and camera which look clean - no dirt/dust. My CanoScan 9950F scanner is clean too. Mick
  6. This is from my 1st roll of film in over 30 years using my old Canon T70 SLR sporting a Canon FD 35-70mm f3.5 zoom/macro lens. Shot at 35mm, f8, 1/250th using Kodak ColorPlus ISO 200. I am not sure if the film was really old or the lab was, well less than professional, because I got the film/CD back with a ton of scratches. I'm going to look at the camera, lens and film very closely to see if I can spot any crud. (We all know what crud is.) My first glance did not spot anything, so I am leaning towards a bad lab.... They scanned the film to a CD for me and it is TERRIBLE! Anyway, this is at Monmouth Reservoir in Howell, Monmouth County, New Jersey. The old dying trees are rapidly disappearing as time marches on. Mick
  7. I finally got the chance to get out for a very short photo shoot. My wife, Karen, took me to the Leonard J. Buck gardens in Far Hills, New Jersey. I snapped a few with my 5DMIII but most of my shots were with my trusty old Canon T70 loaded with a roll of Kodak ColorPlus 200 and sporting a FD 35-105mm f/3.5 Macro lens. I still have to send that out to get it processed and remain hopeful that I'll have a couple of decent shots. I think that it's been almost 30 years since I used that camera. Holy cow, what an adjustment! So here are 3 of my 5DMIII shots from the Leonard J. Buck gardens.
  8. Holy smokes ajkocu! Is that really a coffee maker or have you just been transported to the starship Enterprise to manage their Warp Core? Better check those di-lithium crystals out while you're grinding that stuff. Mick
  9. Hi Mark. I'm going to look at your composite picture process. That's something that I've wanted to try for a long time. Thanks! Mick
  10. I had deleted all of my images shortly after the migration and avoided posting images until such time as I thought that PN had largely stabilized. Unfortunately, it appears that PN is once again a "ship" without a captain or crew. With only 5 images posted, it will become an easy decision for me.
