1. Ditch all the gear, go minimalist, one camera with one prime lens. I have serious back issues and simply cannot lug a lot of gear, a belly bag at the most.
 2. Sorry, late to this thread, but I've been overseas for several weeks. I've been doing 'street photography' for decades and my kit hasn't changed much over the years: a Leica M—usually an M6 TTL or M7, but can't count out an M2 or M4—with 35mm ƒ/2 Summicron; aperture at ƒ/5·6, hyperfocal distance set to 7 metres, loaded Tri-X and maybe a yellow K2 (Wratten No. 8) filter. Depth of field at that setting extends from 3 metres to infinity! No fumbling to focus, up to the eye, frame and shoot, back down to the waist (and under the jacket)—too quick and unobstrusive for anyone to notice.
 3. I purchased a silver demo M7 0·58 quite awhile ago, the version with the improved viewfinder and optical DX reader. I had some problems about 2 years ago and Sherry Kräuter installed a new circuit board, so hopefully I'll be in good shape for the foreseeable future. A really neat camera to use, along with my M2, M4-2, M5—a loveable 'beast', and M6 TTL. The M7 is my 'lazy' camera, just set the aperature, hyperfocal distance and snap away. I hope Leica has a supply of spare circuit boards, and I would encourage our dedicated expert repair technicians—can you hear me, Sherry‽—to buy some of those circuit boards now (if available), so you can be our 'heroes' and 'heroines' 5–10 years hence.
 4.
I am strictly a 35mm film and digital shooter, but I inherited a cache of wonderful 2¼" × 2¼" Ektachrome slides from a deceased relative. Many are fantastic scenes of the NY World's Fair taken with a 'blad in the summer of 1964. I would like to have high-quality enlargements made for display. (I already tried Dwayne's -- and I was always happy with their C-41work -- but the results from the slides were very sub par.) Any recommendations on a top-notch lab?

 5.
@ Eddy d,

Is this show faithfully held every second Sunday throughout the year, or just sporadically? I haven't been to it since it was at the Firemen's Hall in Wayne years back.
