1. I'm very late to this....just wondering if you asked them about their professed love and sharing of them, and what made them switch? People do this in restaurants (eat 80% of the meal and then say they hated it and want money back) and it takes guts to stand your ground!
 2.
I think you're right that a) he never intended to pay, and b) it's not worth the trouble.
Lesson learned!! Sometimes these lessons are painful and expensive. Raise the price of the weddings a bit. The cheaper they are, the more trouble people can be. Next time, let them maybe see them online or in--person, but not take the files without payment. Much of this would have gone smoother had this presentation & communication not been via text, in my opinion.

 3.
The learning curve is very painful....

 4.
Checked with Phottix.....you can't with this system....you have to buy the Stratto....ughhhhh

 5.
Yes to the cable slot--it's how I used Pro Master for 4 years.
Doesn't the main hot shoe get used by the cable (ok my bracket is older, maybe they're different now?) that connects the flash to the camera? And if so I still only have one hot shoe?

 6.
First, thanks for responding.
I have used a bracket before. To connect it, you still use the main hot shoe, leaving no room for either the trigger or the flash (SB910), correct? I need two hot shoes to sync, this giving me light in front and back...

 7. Hi all I had a system set up to fire my backlights using a Pro Master set with sync cord. Best used for wedding dance pics. One day, the trigger set stopped working. The new set would not work the way the old one did, so I "upgraded" to Phottix.. It's great at firing off-camera flash, but the trigger mounts on the hot shoe, and there's no place to put my main flash! What is the best option? (It's the Phottix ares) Thanks...
 8.
John, not meaning any disrespect. I don't think I communicated my need well enough.

 9.
Wow, your responses are so overwhelming (in a great way), I am grateful. I just haven't had time to go through them all yet, and i need to go back over my info from the shoot I did after I posted this.
Back soon & thank you.

 10.
Thanks for being helpful, Marco.

Tom--of course in manual ;)
John--ever compared a sunset shot at 1/200 with one at 1/400 or higher? It's no comparison!

 11.
I'm not a beginner, but I feel like one at sunset. Before the sun goes down, I can only do silhouettes well because I can do the higher shutter speed. Turn on the flash, and my camera (Nikon D600, ocf Nikon 910) just can't go above 1/2oo, washing out the background. It's like I can shoot either my subject OR background well. I need a fair amount of light for a family, but the flash won't cooperate! Hellppp

 12.
That's another thing!! I can NOT take action series shots! I can't take two quickly in any mode!! I'd scrap this camera honestly if the quality weren't so amazing :)
