Adapters

I have many EF to NEX adapters...except metabones. So far MC11 works fine up to 400mm.
  2.
I have a TC2.0 version II, a Kenko 1.4 and a Sigma latest 1401. Kenko is compatible with all lenses but it wobbles. Sigma is great taking both Nikon and Sigma lenses. However, 80-400 once teleconverted, the image quality drops a lot.

  3.
Hi guys, just bought a D500, first DX camera after D70 and start to wonder what wider coverage can I have. I have googled and indeed I am also thinking of Sigma 10-20f3.5. I am after its USM drive....still not used to these older D lenses without AFS on my cameras.
Has anyone got experience

  4.
Yellow cheeked Tit in spring time. Taken by D800, 600VR, Kenko 1.4, mounted on a Gitzo tripod with a Manfrotto head.

  5.
I am also shooting a D800 for wild life. My combo is a 150 macro sigma and hopefully to get either a 150-600 Tammy or Sigma.
1.7+70-200 is a good combo if you know the limitations.
1. 70-200 is not a real tele as the focal length breathing. VR2 can be as short as 134mm. VR1 is better 182mm. So a long telephoto is always desired.
2. 1.7TC slows down AF speed significantly and cause a compromise in IQ

  6.
I am going there with a couple and they warn me against shooting local female...said to be a taboo.

  7.
Have been always traveling with more than one camera, one mounted a standard zoom and another either a telephoto or a super wide zoom. I am going to Turkey in a couple of months time and started to worry about weight issue. The thing is, if I carry mirrorless, I have a lot less weight to carry but their AF speed and accuracy is always an issue.
