The Enlighten Festival is held in Canberra every March. Iconic buildings like the National Portrait Gallery are lit with brilliant, revolving displays. This one, a satirical comment on Brexit, is part of the display lighting up Old Parliament House. -

The Shine Dome is the home of the Academy of Science in Canberra, Australia. This image was taken across the moat that surrounds the building. The building us illuminated at night by coloured spotlights that are constantly changing. This was taken in magenta light. The companion image (Evening falls over the Shine Dome #2) was taken under green/blue lighting. -

The Shine Dome is the home of the Academy of Science in Canberra, Australia. This image was taken across the moat that surrounds the building. In the distance is a more recent addition to the Canberra architectural scene, namely the Nishi Building. -
