  1. Regards to all members, glad to be back after some time! I've had this very pretty 230/9 Zeiss Ikon Adoro body in storage for some time. Sadly, it lacks two essentials: a lens/shutter unit (the factory original having been a Tessar 16,5cm f4,5) and a plate holder (though I'd be happier if I can find an adapted rollfilm holder). In order to solve the absence of a lens and shutter unit I have being offered following options: (a) a Plaubel Anticomar (210mm/f4,2) mounted on Compound shutter. However, besides the focal length difference, the shutter's rear 59,8mm thread diameter seems incompatible with the body's lens standard hole dia. (55,5mm) unless an adapter is expressly made (increasing the lens-to-film-plane distance). Furthermore, there is no lens unit behind the shutter blades (?). (b) an old Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 15cm f4,5 lens mounted on Compur shutter, where the shutter's rear thread (43,8mm), being smaller than the lens standard hole, would be easy to adapt. Both front and rear lens groups are present. Though the shutter blades are in visible disarray this problem seems repairable. (c) a Compur shutter (apparently a CN1408 type) which fits perfectly in the lens standard hole but lacks the entire front lens (providing there ever was one mounted on the 48,8mm threaded front flange). A rear lens unit is in place. I would very much appreciate any comments on these possible alternatives. Thanks in advance. Marco
  2. None found so far Glen, but I can see now a couple of promising clips (sort of), I'll have to fashion a plastic tool and start from there. I am optimistic!
  3. I`ll remember this when I reach the reassembly phase, thank you Steve.
  4. I've noticed the tiniest of pins which seems to expect being depressed by the film cartridge. Will take this into account, thanks AJC!
  5. Thanks John, I'm afraid I'll have to open it up since I've noticed some foul smelling liquid inside, probably caused by battery leak. Will post any progress. Cheers
  6. First off, hope this 40+-yr old camera qualifies as classic - it does to me! Model is Agfamatic 3000 Flash Pocket. Only control is manual focusing, no auto exposure (batteries are for flash only). Has an Apotar lens and is in lovely cosmetic condition but fails to charge/fire the shutter or open the iris, so an internal inspection seems in order. However I cannot find any screws anywhere and wonder if this unit was assembled by just pressing plastic clips. Would appreciate anyone's assistance before attempting any physical approach. Many thanks in advance. Marco
  7. Hope this helps. Sorry but I´m not fully conversant with uploading technology. :
  8. Hello, I haven´t posted for some time but feel I may contribute to clarify this subject. First off, your picture reminds me strongly of some Olympus adapters I have tucked away somewhere. I have recently acquired some Tosner items (28/2,8 and 135/2,8 lenses together with their Tosner to Canon FD adapter) and these look vastly different from the image you have posted. Sorry today I´m in the middle of other things and cannot take/upload item pictures, but promise to do it shortly. Best regards, Marco
