1. My viewpoint is that this discussion does not belong in the Classic Manual Cameras forum. Try the Digital Darkroom. Moderators where are you?
 2.
Rick, my Super Silette does not have the red logo between the viewfinder windows, nor do I recall ever seeing any on this series of models. Perhaps you are thinking of the Agfa Karat 35mm folder? These did have the red logo between the windows.

 3.
Outstanding little gem of a camera, one of my favorites. Superb lens and the shutter still works well after all these years. Not as rare as they used to be, since the advent of the internet marketplace. I have one of these, and also have an Ansco Super Memar, a virtually identical unit, made for the American market. Both have the Synchro Compur shutter and Solagon lens. The differences are purely cosmetic. My Super Memar has a black film counter instead of silver, the distance scale is in feet instead of meters, it does not have the Agfa logo on the lower right front and is inscribed "Ansco Super Memar f.2" around the front of the lens mount. There is also a serial number inscribed in the mounting shoe. Super Silette has the serial number in the film chamber. I'd post a picture but I don't do digital! The last time I tried to post a scanned film image on this site I gave up after a lot of frustration. I don't know how you guys do it.

 4.
Ken Ruth at www.baldmtn.com specializes in rare and unusual cameras such as yours.

 5.
This equipment could not have been used to shoot the Apollo 13 launch or the Robert Kennedy funeral. According to the documentation, the kit was acquired sometime after August 5, 1970. The Apollo 13 launch took place in April of that year. Robert Kennedy was laid to rest in 1968. Great minds, like great cameras, can lose accuracy over many years of heavy use.

 6.
For me, collecting is a curse.
It gets in the way of making photographs.

 7.
C'mon, don't be afraid. At least run a roll through it. There's no such thing as a camera that can't be repaired. You may not be able to do it but someone can. By the same token, if you're never going to use it, its doomed to live it out its existence as a shelf queen, so who cares if it breaks?

 8.
Sounds like you really like your camera. Good enough, I like mine too, and I'm pretty fussy. A little too fussy perhaps. So fussy that I don't even take pictures any more, just collect cameras and fondle them. I hope this doesn't happen to you. I'm working hard to break out of this fetish so that I can make pictures again. Check out this link. You might enjoy looking at the camera of a guy who also "liked his camera but liked to shoot pictures even more"......and, he shot some pretty good ones......lots and lots of them.
https://www.cameraquest.com/LeicaM4G.htm
