  1. Top lens unscrews normally anti-clockwise? The bottom lens/shutter comes out as a block or the rear lens stays attached and must be removed from behind? I already manage to remove the front lens, but not the shutter...!
  2. Rick_van_Nooij, how do you manage to remove the top and bottom rear lens?
  3. Hi. These screws are top behind the mirror box. You can find them on the pic. 6 on the Rick_van_Nooij link, just right next to where the springs are attached, on top. Remove these screws, and then slide back the mirror.
  4. Yes indeed, I mentioned in another post and I found a solution. I found a way to remove the mirror and bought already one on eBay. Now the problem is removing the taking lens. I try to unscrew from behind, but should be very tight; until now I couldn't get it out.
  5. I figured out how to do it... There are 2 screws who needs to be out, then just pulling the frame back and voila, the mirror slides on the slots...!
  6. That's a good advice. I will google it. But first I need to remove this one and hope someone can send me a tip how to do it without damage the mirror. Just in case, the idea is removing it intact...! Thanks for the tip.
  7. Hello, I completely disassemble my Superb to clean the lens and replacing the mirror (it was completely deteriorated), but I can't figure out on how to remove the mirror (I'm thinking send it to re-silvering). The image shows the mirror from above. Down (1) there is a screw. Up (2 and 3) I can see 2 notches where the mirror fits. I don't want to damage this piece, so any help will be welcome. Thanks in advance.
  8. Hi guys, I bought a nice Superb from 1939 (Heliar lens) working almost flawless, but the mirror is unusable. It is completely deteriorate. I disassemble completely the camera but now I'm stuck how to remove the mirror to send it for silvering again. Anybody could help me on this task?
