  1. Thank you JDM. Reducing picture size in cellphone would take off all the details.. thank you for help :) Yes, someone was wearing it for many years...
  2. Hello Friends, I thought I should share the pics of very interesting Voigtlander pendant issued in 1976. I found pics of the medal of the same look, this one is different it have an original "ear" for the chain. Does any other Voigtlander medals exist? Thanks, Maciek.
  3. Thank you all for the replies :) I know, I use Rollei 35 SE for years now, as my everyday notepad. Got dents, missing parts and screws but works beautifully. Love the Sonnar, One He'll of a lens!<div></div>
  4. I just saw the Rollei "Passport" with serial number, model, Lens model etc.. At the bottom there is "110". What is this number? Is it Lens' resolution (110 Lpmm) ?<div></div>
  5. Very interesting comparison Mike! I used both cameras, both have very good lenses. But I have to say that there is something magical about my shots from little XA-1... Photos are so crisp... I had that impression of looking at the "grainy canvas", the "surface of film" Grain was very pleasing. XA-1 Is a very nice camera for a sunny day.
  6. Hi Rajmohan, Wonderful Photos you have here :) I'm glad my post inspired someone to pick up this fine camera :) Lenses are the top notch, I Love Solinar lens in every camera I have!
  7. I bought this camera for my girlfriend few years ago, of course tried it first ;) Camera is very simple and limited but when the light is right (any daylight) camera delivered wonderful pictures, it was a pleasure to look at them. I think it's a beauty of a simpler 4-element lens. And yes, D Zuiko got 4 elements as the D is the fourth letter of alphabet, G Zuiko is a 6-element lens. Great little camera for a daylight.
  8. Hey Julio, You're the Man! I opened your link, clicked the 35S model and the answer is right there! http://www.rolleiclub.com/cameras/35classic/info/35-S.shtml Now I need to find the accurate scale and weight my Rolleis ;) Thanks again! Maciek.
  9. Hello Friends :) I have questions regarding. Black versions of Rollei 35 (Singapore production) : I've seen same pictures of worn out black Rollei's with Sonnar, and looks like there were two versions: Brass and Aluminium/white metal... What do You know about those variations? Can we know which top cover is brass by serial numbers? Is there any way to check it without scratching the paint or removing the top deck? Only weighting Rollei's comes to my mind but weight may be affected by other elements... How about Silver (Chrome) versions, are they all brass? Thank You, Maciek Stankiewicz
