<p>My friend almost exclusively uses a good fast 50mm lens and keeps a quality standard zoom handy if she really need to go wider or longer.<br> An X-Pro 1 and a XF 35mm 1.4 would be affordable and worth consideration. </p>

<p>Users of both the XT-1 and XE-2 have experienced and documented problems with dust and immovable dirt on their new sensors. <strong>There is at least a couple of threads on dpreview.com</strong></p> <p>Then it must be true and a widespread issue. It usually happens when changing a lens in a dust storm. Certainly a design flaw. ;-)</p>
