  1. Hi, I photographs with a L-Bracket mounted on tripod for horizontal and vertical shoots. I want to purschase the Canon RF 70-200. I know that it is sold with a collar to fix it on a tripod. My question is simple, with this collar can we position the camera horizontally and also vertically? Can we rotate the camera on the collar ? Any help will be appreciated !
  2. Hi evryone, Today come out two Canon RF lenses : the 16-35 and 24-70 These glasses look good, tests should arrive on the internet by the hundreds ... they have AF Nano USM technology. However, I read a few times, there were several people who were skeptical about the Nano USM technology compared to the old USM technology (this one is on the RF 50, 85 and 28-70), for example I have read: "It's good for the speed and precision of the AF... but it's a disaster in case of failure where the objective becomes INOPERABLE .... or IRREPARABLE when this zoom will be discontinued. We would not say anything about the risk of haircuts that this type of lenses could know. " What do you think about that ? Is Nano USM hard to fixe ? Is this a little crazy? All comment will be appreciated.
  3. Sound good ! Thanks for your message. 24 - 50 - 90 nice trinity of TS-E :)
  4. I also find this review, Helen Bartlett share some pictures of TS-E mounted on R ... apparently, it seems that she has not experienced some trouble, pretty obvious for a Canon ambassador ? :)
  5. I just found this , made by Canon, the compatibility is ok, and the EOS R manual focusing aids (focus peaking, etc.) seem to be very useful with TS-E. "Not so much anymore": since Sony is in the game? :)
  6. Thanks for answering Ken. I have already work with the TS-E 24 few year ago, and I was very satisfied with the type of glass. So 50 and 90 for the thing I want to do will be fine... I also hope someone who used the combination pass here :)
  7. I just wrote to Canon, we'll see their answer. Yes, it's EF lenses so it should be good, but you never know ...
  8. Hi everyone, I would like to use the Canon TS-E 50mm Macro and Canon TS-E 90mm Macro lenses on my EOS R case, with the ring. At first sight, this lenses are perfectly compatible and will work well. Can some of you confirm this? I havn't yet bought the lenses and this will be a big investment (!!!), so I prefere to check that there is no anomaly before :) All comments will be appreciated !
  9. I very good point ! Thanks for your answer and details. Nice to be able to compose and shoot directly in the correct aspect ratio. As we hear on mirrorless reviews « what you see is what you get » even if I shoot 4x3 ! It is the same when I shoot RAW on 5D IV : I have alway the full native 3x2 RAW but pre cropped on Lightroom, or Camera RAW.
  10. Yes, I have already check the manual available online but I can't find the answer... :( Maybe someone have the answer, will see...
  11. Hello everyone, With the Canon EOS R, is it possible to have the aspect ratio that we chose directly in the electronic viewfinder, to see and shoot directly with the right ratio? For example, if I choose the format 4x3, will the viewfinder show me a 4x3, or still the native 3x2 ? If this option exist, it will be extra. I shoot on Canon 5DIV and this option is only on the back screen (for 4x3 ratio, the screen add black mask on the right and left of the screen... but not in the reflex viewfinder). Thanks for your help, Louvant
  12. Thanks for your answer. That a good point ! What we hear a lot on mirrorless reviews is confirmed: « What you see is what you get »

  14. Hello everyone, I have just purchased an Eizo CG2420. I want to calibrate it with ColorNavigator for a photograpic use. 1 / But when I create a "New target" in ColorNavigator, I do not know which Gamut to choose in the first step. Is it better to choose "native Monitor" or should I choose Adobe RGB 1998? I know that Photoshop works first with the color space of the ICC profile integred in the file I open (and this regardless of the gamut of my screen!) ; and that lightroom works the RAW files with ProPhoto color space before exporting to a sRGB or Adobe 1998 file. 2 / In the last step, ColorNavigator proposes 3 "Priority". What is the difference between "Gray Balance" and "Standard"? What is the best choice to work on "basic" photographic post-production of RAW files without print ? Any help will be welcome, Laurent
