1.
ps - I haven't been on here in so long I forget how to make this post unavailable to the public

 2.
Someone has just asked me if I could "restore an Art Leather Perma-Bound album. Apparently this company is out of business. I did find a site (wedding album depot) which offers consumers a service of putting their old pages in a new leather cover. The charge $250. They are asking me if I can do it for less. I have made modern albums but never the matted style pages so have never ordered them. I have not looked into whether this company offers a better price for pros but wanted to check with you all first. I am imagining if I am able to remove the prints from the mats, I could order any leather album cover and pages and reinsert the older images? - BUT can I do it for much less than $250 including my time and effort?
I told them I could scan the images for them also if we were going to go to the trouble of removing them - that way they could archive and share with kids and grandkids.
Thanks for any advice!

 3.
Wondering if anyone knows a place perhaps New England based to order a small quantity of trading cards to receive in a day or 2. This is for police K9 pics but figured the sports photographers are the ones to ask. Thanks!

 4.
I don't do a LOT of weddings but to me, the term, edited and proofed is a bit confusing and what did they mean by they would "give" them to you? On a CD? or show them to you?
Edited can mean a few things - at least for me, before a client sees the "proofs", I do some amount of basic editing. However, I do not consider those images fully edited as some may need more adjustments which I would make once a print is being ordered or used in an album.
It IS definitely standard for the photographer not to show you every single image taken. For the most part, anything not shown is likely a duplicate, a blurred or not so sharp image or under or over exposed.

 5.
Hi all! I haven't been on here much in years but you guys are my "go to" forum! I have been doing a lot more pet photography and less wedding - but this question would apply to any.
I have done events hosted by rescue groups, dog clubs, etc... and last year (after a great response to my candid pics) instead of just having a table, I started setting up a little studio inside my tent with a themed backdrop and props.
Anyway, my question is about displaying my work. Most of these shows are outdoors so there is sometimes wind to contend with. I have tried all sorts of items but have always wanted to have some large prints, maybe on canvas that really show the images off more than a small print. However, I have no idea how I am going to hang or prop these. My tent has sides but they are just flimsy tent fabric.
Any suggestions on how to hang the canvases or make them heavy or recommendations on a better material to print on for such displays?
Thanks very much!
Lauren
PS I need to start ordering these items today
