  1. I mounted the 244t into my AE-1, set the shutterspeed at 1/60 and turned the flash on. The red ready light of the flash turned on, and when i pressed the exposure preview switch on the AE-1, the flash blinked a rapid flash which is supposed to set the aperture and shutterspeed automatically according to the distance of the subject, at least on T-50. According to this, i believe that 244t is compatible to AE-1 and its automations should work.
  2. Hi guys! I recently bought a canon speedlite 244t flash. My question is: How do i take flash pictures with my Canon AE-1 and Canon speedlite 244t? Do i need to set the shutter speed at 1/60 (flash sync), then the aperture to auto-exposure, focus the subject and shoot? Or do i need to set the aperture manually? I'm asking this because i don't know if the automatic features of 244t work the same way with my AE-1 as they do with T-50; the camera which the 244t was originally made for. Instructions for this problem would really make my day.
