  1. Scan them and that's it.... I haven't actually figure what to do as well... But Love these 3:1 ratio stuff...
  2. in 2005, when I moved from Australia to China, I got my eye for the first time on Medium format camera, and not just any medium format camera, 617 at that... anyway, long story short, 12 years later, I finally have had my hands on a Horseman SW617 Professional, and I managed to bring it along for my Fuji trip with the missus.... Surprisingly she didn't give me the look when she saw me doing film shooting which she really disapprove. Hahahha Lake Kawaguchi Lake Kawaguchi & Fujisan Sunset Fujisan from Lake Yamanaka Panorama Platform Sunrise Fujisan from Yamanaka Panorama Platform I have also tested some BW but the lab that do my slide is not that good doing BW, and they call their BW 'Lovingly developed by hand'.... Well, maybe it's a by name for unreliability and bollock development technique....
  3. Thanks for the tips. I normally do my own development but since there's a toddler boy at home, I stop doing that for quite awhile. This is done by a lab. After this experience, I will do it at home by myself again.
  4. They did do a better job with the color slide. I guess they do employ chimps for the BW department. They are refunding me and giving me 10 extra rolls of free dev and scan. What else can they do anyway......
  5. Yes, the banding is there on the film. As well as the spot.... I think it is the development problem. I have to talk to the lab. They use hand development.
  6. The spots is everywhere, and I didn't do the development myself as I was having it scanned. I think it might be the chemical and also their technique
  7. Yes, It's quite large though. Scanned with X5 Immacon
  8. Hi, all. It has been awhile since I have last shot any film. Last week, I went to Fujisan with a Horseman SW617 Pro + Ilford PanF 50. Upon developing the 2 rolls of film I have shot, I discover that the highlight area of the film has white dots that looks like snow flakes and also some banding on the vertical side. Please look at the 3 images: My question: 1. Is this a film problem? The film is still within its date of use. 2. Is this a development problem? Old fixer, improper loading, etc. 3. Is this a influence by cold air during the time of exposure (-6 degree)? 4. Is it because I didn't cover the cover in dark clothe resulting in banding? (30mins exposure) I am open to any advice and I will have to practice more. Thank you in Advance.
