Hi, I'm an archivist at a newspaper and I landed here doing research on blue spots on scans. Don't have any answers, but thought I'd post that in our case, the spots appeared on color transparency film from 1968, shot in 1968 and processed at that time (we believe) at the AP Saigon lab. They are not on all slides, just some. In case this helps solving the mystery of the spots.
