1.
Charles.... Michael
Thank You! (Will test this tomorrow after work and I'm pretty sure it will work for me too)

...Kari

 2.
Just got my new E15 and have installed it.... BUT, I really want to change the color on the work space.... Anyone know if that is even possible to do that?... if it's possible how do I do it?

 3.
Today (saturday) I got some confirmation to my previous text.... Took some pictures to be able to compare SR on or SR off.... The camera was set to 1/50 (f8) and the lens in this case to 28mm... Viewing those two pictures at the same time on my monitor clearly showed that with the SR off the picture was blurrier.....
So, once again.....This particular Sigma lens might actually work correctly when your K-3 has firmware 1,11........well, mine actually seems to do that.

 4.
Downloaded the latest version of the PhotoMe...... This software hadn't this particular info at all to give from pictures taken at 17mm with either of my cameras....K-5 and K-3 PE...
So as for now I just did a very very simple test.... using my K-3 and the lens at 17mm with shutter at 1/15...
With simple I mean that I only used the third step with the on/off lever on the camera.
Closing in and comparing pictures gave actually this result...SR on gave less "blurry" picture....
But as I wrote this was a very very simple test... I do understand that I have to take real pictues for comparing....
I do wonder though if the firmware in camera has to do anything with this problem...
My K-3 PE have firmware 1,11...........

 5.
Today, thursday, I got an answer from the swedish importer who wrote that they had contacted Sigma in Japan and they said that there is an update for my flash that makes it work properly with the Pentax K-3.
For 300 Swekrona (about $42) which also includes the return the importer will update the software...... To me 300 Swekrona is very fair in price so that flash is on it's way.

Antoni...... Thanks for your info......

 6.
John and Antoni......
My first guess when the flash didn't work was that it's probably something with the software/firmware.....the flash simply being too old for the K-3...
I have today (tuesday) contacted the swedish importer of Sigma flashes via email and expecting some kind of answer tomorrow....

Andrew.....
The answer to your question is.... Yes, even with the built-in flash
....and no the redeye-reduction wasn't on....I really checked to be sure..... please read the link.....
http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/172-pentax-k-3/242556-k-3-delay-when-using-flash.html

 7.
Back in time when I bought my K10 I also bought the Sigma EF-500 DG Super flash and it has been working without any problems since...even with my K-5 which I bought about 4 years ago....Recently I bought the K-3 Prestige Edition which have the firmware 1,11......which made me think that most problems from the original K-3 has been solved by now.....but, hell no.....to my disappointment there seems to still be a "huge" delay when I use the flash, internal or external, there is a delay/lag between the moment I press the button and the moment the effectively take the photo....felt very annoying when I used the flash for the first time......AND, I also have a problem when using the external flash not always "working".....a problem that never excisted while using the flash on my K10 and K-5.. I have noticed that sometimes I simply have to "restart" either the flash or the camera after each shoot taken with the flash....then I have a working flash for each single picture.
Anyone who have experienced this too.....and have done what ????

 8.
Have been using the K-5 since September 2010 with the 16-45 lens...but just ahead of my summer holiday this year I bought the Sigma 17-70 C lens......and that pair have been working without any problems.....At the same time I have been looking at the K-3 for a longer time of period and finally when "my dealer" got the K-3 Prestige Edition in stock I bought my K-3....

Picked it up this friday and set the camera adjustments to my likings so I can go out on saturday (yesterday) to be able to take my first pictures with my new K-3 Prestige E.....

The first thing that I noticed was that in my opinion this Sigma 17-70 C lens on this K-3 is slower in auto focus than with the K-5...
The focus system ain't very fast in my mind.............might anyone else have the same opinion that I have......

I shoot in DNG-RAW....... and wonder if anyone who have been having the K-3 for longer time than I...could give me some hints to how to adjust the camera for "best" results........especially I want to know how other K-3 RAW-shooters have adjusted the niose reduction settings....
The "original" Prestige Edition strap is so wrong too..........black all the way.....don't use it instead I took the strap from my old K-10 which at least says PENTAX in a different colour......I really want people from distace to see that I'm a Pentax user....
