Scat cat!

I was wondering why my cardinals were setting up such a fuss and when I went outside I saw this guy in their tree.

I bought my first DSLR for my Colorado Plateau vacation. I had only had my camera about a week when I took this. It's one of my faves from my trip.

  4.
Thanks so much JDM! Sorry I did not respond sooner, I'm new to the sight and can only post 2x per day.

  5.
Hello All - How do I post pics to the landscape and nature threads? I might have missed it, but I couldn't find anything on how to upload.
Thanks in advance!

  6.
Thanks Bob & Roger for the tips. BF & I are actually planning a pit stop at Merritt Island next month over our vacation.

  7.
Thank you again for all the tips! Edward - GREAT pic! Thanks for sharing!

  8.
Thanks so much for the tips!
I will be the passenger, so no worries there. We do plan on stopping as much as possible, but sometimes it's not possible. I usually keep the passenger side window pretty clean when we're day / road tripping, but now I'll start keeping wipes in the car also. Thanks for the sports option suggestion, shooting weather through the windshield (screen), and the Fstops and shutter-speeds.
Brian S - I had to laugh at your "auto" joke!
Thanks again for the tips and I'll post pix when we return from our trip.

  9.
Hi All -
My BF & I have a couple of road trips planned around the FL peninsula and to the Smokey Mts. Does anyone have any tips about taking pictures from a moving vehicle? Usually when I take pix from a car, I just set my camera to Auto - but I wondered if anyone has suggestions for other settings.
Thanks in advance!

  10.
Hi All -
I'm new to both photography (been shooting about a year) and to this community. I love taking pix w/ my Sony a58 & a77ii. I try to get out at least an hour a day after work, but on the weekends I try to get out 2-3 hours.
I usually go to the same place for my photo-walks, as I like to call them, but I would like to know if anyone in the Central Florida has any favorite places for taking pix of wildlife, local flaura & fauna, and birding pix. My go to spots are Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando, Tibet-Butler Preserve near Disney, Oakland Nature Preserve off old 50 and a little walking trail off of Universal Blvd by the 582 exchange.
Thanks in advance for any tips.
