12.
Hi!

I will do some interesting trips this year (Iceland, Indonesia and Thailand) were I would like to take 360 spherical photographs (360 panos) as well as taking videos with drones.

I recently bought a 360fly camera for testing. It is "good" for hemispherical videos, not spherical ones, although the PR says so but this is fine. However, I'm frankly disappointed with the quality of the lenses: the chromatic aberration is too high and anything but close-ups always appear incredibly too blurry. I know, it's a consumer camera, not a professional one but... I was expecting something a bit better.

Can you recommend me any 360 camera that a hobbistic photographer can afford? My budget is around 1000 EUR. It would be best if it was able to shoot spherical videos.

As far as I can tell, anything which is professional or half-professional costs way more than what I want to expend ($6,000 USD, $60,000 USD, etc...). The only exception seems to be to buy 2 Kodak SP360 PRO 4K. However, I don't want to buy another camera that I cannot try before only to realize the quality is similar (or worst) than the quality I got with the 360Fly camera. The other consumer options like the Ricoh Theta seems to be toys for interior photography of parties at bars of houses. Other options that look interesting are either unavailable yet (Nikon KeyMission 360 comes to mind), incredibly pricy (like Nokia OZO or the Freedom 360 GoPro mount).

So, anybody can recommend me any 360 camera for which the quality is half acceptable at around ~1000 EUR? More than anything I plan to use it for landscapes.

Thank in advance!
